TITLE: Butterscotch Pecans
DESCRIPTION: Addictive crunchy pecans cloaked in butter, brown sugar, and sea salt. I use a Chinese technique to get the pecans super crunchy; first they are soaked in simmering water. Then, the pecans are slow roasted in an oven for up to 20 hours. This removes any off flavors they might have picked up in storage and makes them extremely crisp. After roasting, they go into a copper sugar pot where they are caramelized and salted. You won't believe how delicious! One pound sells for $22 are great to have at the holidays. Shippable and only available in the fall and winter.
